It must grab the attention to create a compelling promise for the reader and then deliver on it. It should be drafted with adequate care that it portrays what exactly is intended to convey, precise to the point and it should be very brief so that the readers’ interest is created to read and understand and take a step to seek further details for ultimate purchase. It should be neither too lengthy nor too short and the language used to be flawless, with perfect spelling, punctuation and grammar.
The idea of a sales letter is also to offer solutions to speak directly to the customer’s problems besides challenges, be it business-to-consumer or business-to-business. It should bolster interest and inject pizzazz by adding high-profile endorsements. One must establish credibility and make believable statements.
